Created by renowned British glass artist Graeme Hawes exclusively for our studio, this Deep Cut Slice contemporary hollow blown glass sculpture radiates with vibrant rainbow-like colour and striking optical depth. Almost round in form, the piece features a richly multifaceted exterior that catches and refracts the light, transforming its appearance from every angle.

Layers of clear glass are infused with vivid orange, pink, yellow, green and blue tones that shift and merge as the sculpture is viewed from different perspectives, creating a luminous interplay of colour and movement. The hollow blown form enhances the clarity and brilliance of the glass, allowing light to travel through the sculpture and intensify its glowing, jewel-like quality.

Part of Hawes’ Deep Cut Slice series, the sculpture explores the relationship between light, perception and surface through precisely cut facets and richly layered colour. Both tactile and visually dynamic, it is a captivating example of Hawes’ mastery of blown glass and optical effect.
